The Alpha Alpha Alpha Zeta Chapter is committed to uplifting communities in the Fredericksburg, VA and Spotsylvania, VA area, and implementing projects that promote the programs and initiatives of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. These include:
Elder Care Initiative
The Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated Elder Care Initiative was founded in 2014 under the leadership of Past International President, Dr. Mary Breaux Wright. It strives to provide education and guidance to senior citizens. Our mission is to engage, assist, and empower older adults, their families, and caregivers within the community we serve. The AAAZ Chapter has partnered with Healthy Generations Rappahannock Area Agency on Aging, Inc. and the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank's Food for Life program, which provides nutritious food monthly to low-income individuals over 60 years of age.
March of Dimes
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated partners with March of Dimes to promote the health and well-being of babies, their mothers, and their families. The sorority helps families become more knowledgable on health risks associated with pregnant women and their babies, as well as provides resources and engagement opportunities to ensure healthier outcomes for babies and their families. The sorority celebrates National Prematurity Awareness Month in November and sponsors several Walk for Babies fundrasing events nationwide.
